Gin Dictador Colombian Treasure Black Age 0.7L 43%

Art. # 2334

Created based on the unique Colombian fruit Limon Mandarino, which combines the exotic sweetness of mandarins with the sour taste of lemon. The base alcohol in this gin is made from neutral sugarcane spirit, distilled up to 5 times.

It includes 12 plants (such as juniper, ginger, angelica root, black pepper, rosemary, and mandarin), which are distilled separately, leading to a stronger emphasis on mandarin. Once combined, to achieve its exceptional smooth taste, Treasure Gin ages for 6 months in Dictador rum barrels and is then bottled without filtration, which gives it its golden color. The combination of the balance between citrus peels and the time spent in barrels gives the gin freshness and softness, allowing you to enjoy it even if you add just a few ice cubes.

COLOR: Clear and bright with a slight amber tone, reflecting the time spent in the barrels. Clear and bright

AROMA: The initial aroma is of mandarins with lemon notes. The subsequent aroma is of flowers that provide freshness and balance. Mint, pepper, and a light sweetness of wood and berries

TASTE: Pleasant notes and a round body. Mandarin, lemon, mint, and pepper, along with the traditional flavors of gin, are enhanced by the time spent in oak barrels. The result is a truly unique gin.

Dictador

Dictador

At the end of the 18th century, Severo Arango y Ferro arrived in Cartagena de Indias in Nueva Granada (modern-day Colombia). His strong and powerful nature was quickly recognized and he was soon nicknamed DICTADOR. Severo discovered rum and soon became a key trader in exotic sugar cane spirits. In 1913, almost 180 years later, one of his descendants created the Destilería Colombiana. Don Julio Arango y Para spent years researching the myths of DICTADOR, as well as the intricacies of rum production, to become the best producer of Colombian rum in the Caribbean. Today, third-generation rum producer and Master Blender, Hernan Para, continues the family's legacy and tradition.
