EDNA Misketova Rakia
Art. # 5403One muscat rakia is the result of a joint project by Seewines Spirits, RakiaSHOP, and One rakia made from hand-picked Sungurlare muscat grapes from old vineyards. Both wine and grape skins were used in its production to extract the maximum flavor and aromatic qualities of this exceptional Bulgarian variety. To achieve maximum complexity and finesse, the rakia is aged for 6 months in an old small French oak barrel.
One muscat rakia offers a long sensory experience with pronounced spiciness, floral and flowery notes. The nose is dominated by rose oil, cardamom, quince, lavender, lilac, and freshly mown grass. Additional complexity is provided by notes of dried fruits – plum, apricot, and medlar. All of these are enveloped in fine nuances of vanilla, white chocolate, raisins, and hazelnut acquired from aging in a French oak barrel. On the palate, the rakia is also characterized by a distinctly pronounced spiciness led by cardamom and quince. The white chocolate and vanilla carry the experience from the beginning of the palate to the finish, where they intertwine with the long and memorable aftertaste of medlar, dried fruits, and truffle. One muscat rakia is particularly suitable for heavier and rich salads, aged (matured) cheeses like Parmesan and Pecorino, as well as lightly to moderately spicy foods.

RakiaSHOP
Behind RakiaShop are a group of enthusiasts who love rakia not only as a drink, but also as an important part of the heritage of the Balkans. This is the result of their hobby of learning and trying new things, but also just enjoying the brandy and the culture of the Balkans. They are all specialists in other and different professions, but it is these things that unite them and lead them forward. Their main focus in the selection are pre-selected brandies that are really worth it - according to them, a brandy must meet certain standards of high quality, its content must meet certain health standards and be in harmony with the environment. Of course, last but not least, the brandy must be honestly valued and the price must correspond to its qualities.
