Charalambiev's Kailash Misket 2022
Art. # 5175Harvest 2022 is premiering exclusively with us at Siuains!
The H's series contains wines made only from local varieties. It expresses the Haralambievs' vision of how, with proper practices in the vineyard and cellar, the characteristic Rubin and Kylashki Misket from the Pleven region can showcase their merits and become an emblem. The vineyard - 'The Mounds' is located in the middle part of the slope above the source of the 'Petarnishka Bara' river near the village of Petarnitsa, where the soil is shallow gray forest over a karst base with a high clay content and an altitude of about 300 m. The color is sparkling, pale straw yellow. The nose is intense, with predominant aromas of pineapple, quince, melon, white flowers, and indrishe. On the palate, it is exceptionally juicy, with enviable freshness and a pleasant aftertaste of citrus fruits and pineapple. The wine is suitable both as an aperitif and in combination with fresh leafy salads with citrus dressing, seafood, and spicy Asian cuisine.

Danubian Plain
This region extends from the banks of the Danube River to the slopes of the Stara Planina, encompassing the fertile Danube plain. It is characterized by a moderate continental climate with hot summers and a large number of sunny days. The varieties 'Muscat Ottonel', 'Gamza', 'Cabernet Sauvignon', 'Merlot', 'Chardonnay', 'Aligoté', 'Pamid', and others are widespread. Here, dry white wines, sparkling wines made using classical technology, and quality red wines are produced, which are characterized by a rich fruity aroma and fresh taste. A typical local variety is Gamza, also known in Serbia and Hungary as Kadarka. This is a red variety mainly grown in the Vidin and Pleven regions, which ripens at the end of September and produces fresh, fruity, and pleasantly tart wines with a characteristic aroma of raspberries and forest fruits.
