Centelleo Tempranillo Syrah 2022

Art. # 6165
Filled with fruity aromas and balanced, this modern-style wine represents the spirit and brilliance of today's Spain. Soft and juicy, with a ruby color with dark purple hues, the combination of Tempranillo and Syrah carries aromas of ripe dark fruits like blackberries and cherries, as well as hints of sweet spices. Intense, with a medium structure and a long finish on the palate, wonderful on its own, as well as with lamb chops and not overly spicy curries.
Alc. 13 %

Alliance Wine

Alliance Wine

Founded in 1984. by Christian Bouteiller and Jonathan Kennett, the team already has two Master of Wine winners - Fergal Tynan M.W and Giles Cooke M.W. The company's home is Beith, Ayrshire, Scotland and from this simple idyllic village, today Alliance Wines has grown into one of the leading suppliers of wine in the United Kingdom. They import wine from over 20 countries around the world and represent over 200 producers. Tireless in their pursuit of the extraordinary and thirsty for wines with soul and personality, it is no surprise that they focus and turn to the creation and cultivation of their own wines. This passion leads them to search for specific terroirs and - for now - they make wine in Australia, Spain, France and Chile.

Tempranillo

Tempranillo

Almost every red wine in Spain from Rioja and Ribera del Duero has Tempranillo at its core, and in Portugal the variety is widely used in the Douro Valley – under the name Tinta Roriz – both for table wines and world-famous fortified wines (Port). The red wines based on Tempranillo are characterised by a wide range of aromas - from strawberries, blackcurrants and cherries to prunes, chocolate and tobacco depending on climate, vineyard age and oak ageing.
